Description: This outfit reminded me of a cross between someone going to a picnic and someone going to an art museum. The dress is girly, while I matched it up with an over the shoulder bag and professional-looking Oxfords. Wear it anywhere!
Tips: Complete this look with some red sunglasses!

Summer 2010 Outfits [Part 1]

Here are some outfits I thought I'd string together for some sweet summertime:

Outfit #1:

Description: I like how the main focus of this outfit comes from the shorts. I like the simple cut of the tank top with the few chains on the pocket to not make it look too boring. Put on the crochet vest over the tank top and it completes the look. The shorts are breathable, the tank top and vest are light. Perfect for summer!
Tips- Tuck in the tank top into the shorts. Wear red flats with this outfit.

Pollock in Action

I was looking at a Jackson Pollock site when I remembered I had researched Abstract Expressionism not to long ago. Shortly after that I found dresses and styles that were similar to Pollock's work.

Phoenix

I love the suit combinations for this photo. I feel like each member of the band has an outfit that really makes a statement about each one of them and their personalities. The color scheme works really well! Check out my favorite album of theirs- Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.

First Attempt

I was driving in a car around downtown Los Angeles when I saw this man and woman whose outfits struck me. I love the woman's pink tights that complimented her boots which tied her outfit together. I thought the man's suspenders added a hipster yet couture look to his pant suit and patent leather loafers. This was my first attempt at a "street style" photograph.
